Wrist Surgery

The wrist is the most specialized joint in our body. In daily life, we move our wrists without realizing it. However, when a disease is seen in the wrist, life becomes difficult due to pain and restriction of movement. After a careful examination for wrist diseases, X-rays are taken to examine the bone and joint structure. For more detailed diagnosis, detailed tests such as MRI and Tomography are requested. The leading wrist diseases include scaphoid bone problems, kienböck's disease, tendon compression, TFCC tears, nerve compression. Very good clinical results are obtained with special techniques such as wrist arthroscopy.

Elbow and Shoulder Surgery

Elbow joint disorders affect daily life very negatively. There are many diseases around the elbow. Tennis elbow, ulnar nerve compression, swelling behind the elbow called bursitis, joint calcification, ligament injury and fractures are the most common diseases. First of all, joint and bone structures are examined with an elbow x-ray. MRI and tomography are performed when necessary. Treatment is planned after diagnosis. Muscle tears are quite common in the shoulder joint. In the early period, the tear of the muscle group called rotator cuff is repaired arthroscopically. In progressive cases, tendon transfer is performed. Recurrent shoulder dislocation is another common disease. Arthroscopic treatment gives very successful results.
